Hi Jini! Absorb Plus is amazing and I have gained 6 pounds since starting it. Unfortunately, as I try to add in normal meals I find that I have no appetite for them. I eat a small breakfast, drink a shake, and sometimes another, then hardly any lunch, another shake, and a small dinner. If I don’t want to lose weight, I need to have another shake at bedtime. My appetite for real food is much diminished, even if I reduce the number of shakes. Any suggestions? I have malabsorbtion from a condition called Common Variable Immune Deficiency but it acts a lot like Chrohns. Thanks so much! Cindy

"However, our lab is still active. In fact the past couple years we've had probably our best and most high-profile publications," says Henderson. "Right now the lab has a senior postdoc, a graduate student, and my lab manager, and they are doing all the heavy lifting." Donna Porter is the laboratory manager working with Postdoctoral Associate Joseph Oberlander and graduate student Marie Onakomaiya.

You can buy some topical corticosteroids "over-the-counter" without a prescription. For example, for dermatitis, you can buy the steroid cream called hydrocortisone 1% from your pharmacy. Do not apply this to your face unless your doctor has told you to do so. This is because it may trigger a skin condition affecting the face ( acne or rosacea. ) Long-term use may also damage the skin. On your face this would be more noticeable than the rest of your body. So usually only weak steroids are used on the face. Those which are suitable are prescription-only.
